I was a little late getting Cailtyn's 6 mo. pictures taken so these are her 7 mo. pictures :) We love them. Now we have to figure out which ones to enlarge. We want a bathtub one for the bathroom and a regular one for the living room. Any opinions?
We had a great pre 4th of July celebration with our friends the Head family. We felt getting really crazy with fireworks wasn't really a Sunday activity so we got together on Saturday. The Head family came over with their fire pit and we had smores, which kept the kids going until it got dark. We then had a great time with fireworks, sparklers, and pop its. Caitlyn woke up during the middle of our festivities and Graydon was ecstatic because he didn't want her to miss her first 4th of July. I was worried that she would be scared of the loud noises but she just stared at them with those curious eyes of hers. Yeah maybe she won't be scared of them! The kids were up until 11:30 so you can just imagine what the next day was like! It was worth it, though, we had a great time!
I decided to start practicing my photography skills. I have always enjoyed photography and good pictures are getting pricey. I have a long way to go before I get good enough to frame my pictures, but here is my first attempt.
I realized the other day that I take a ton of pictures of the kids on their birthdays but non of the adults. Graydon turned 34 on June 27th. We rushed home from our family reunion so that we could celebrate with him. We had a very relaxing day. I am so grateful to have such and amazing husband. He still makes me laugh and I still get butterflies in my stomach when I look at him. He is an amazing father who loves to be home and hang out with the family. Happy birthday Graydon! I look forward to celebrating many more with you!
The kids and I went to Graydon's family reunion recently. Why did I go to Graydon's family reunion without Graydon you ask? Because I love my husband and I'm CRAZY. Just kidding. The kids and I drove to Salt Lake stayed with Graydon's awesome brother, Colin and his wife Mekenzie(thanks you guys!) and then picked up my mother in law, Paige and headed to Colorado. Despite driving 13 hours over two days the kids were great. We had fun visiting with family, swimming and hiking(well the kids hiked, I died!). We had a great time and are looking forward to next year.
