My Sunshine

Some people say that you take fewer pictures of your kids after the first but I have a hard time not taking pictures of my sweet little sunshine. She just makes me smile. When I feed her early in the morning I don't talk or play with her so that she will go right back to sleep but she makes me laugh when I look down and she has stopped eating and is smiling at me with this big toothless grin. Nothing is sweeter than a baby that thinks you are the world. This day I thought that Caitlyn looked so cute I had to start taking pictures. She had just finished eating, which is why her shirt is all wet. I didn't notice until after I took all of the pictures. Oh well I think they are still cute...

Haircuts

We have been meaning to get haircuts for a looong time. I don't think poor Tyler had had a haircut since July. Ever since I got bangs Megan has been asking to get "a bang". It took many corrections before she finally got it right:) It's funny because I am willing to do a lot of different things with my hair but when it comes to Megan's hair I get nervous. I think it turned out cute(thanks to my friend Kelli's mad skills!) In order for me to get the kids to stand nicely for the pictures I had to promise to post silly pictures of them as well. So here they are...

Caitlyn's Blessing

Caitlyn was blessed on January 3. Graydon's mom, his brother Colin, and Colin's wife Mekenzie were able to come up for the blessing. I was only able to get a few pictures because it was a crazy morning but I will always treasure this weekend in my heart. We missed the family who could not come but we had a nice quiet visit with those who could come. Caitlyn definitely got spoiled with all the people who wanted to hold her. Graydon and I still have to sit down and write the details of her blessing out but these are some of the things he said that I wrote down. If she studied the scriptures they would have a great impact in her life. That her influence would be felt for generations to come. That she would have the strength to be a leader and an example. That she was a great blessing to her family. And that she would learn and grow in the gospel. It was a great blessing and I know this little girl will turn into an amazing woman. We love her and it was a special day.

We are so glad Graydon's mom was able to come, unfortunately the only picture we got of her with Caitlyn was when Caitlyn was crying.

Our Christmas...

We had a great Christmas this year. We just stayed home and enjoyed our new little family. Caitlyn gave me a Christmas Eve miracle by sleeping for 9 1/2 hours! I have never had a baby sleep through the night at 2 months old(now I have to stop waking up and looking at the clock wondering when she is going to wake up, I'm crazy!). We enjoyed getting everyone all dressed up and going to church together. The music at church was great and it was the first time we had all been there since Caitlyn was born. I got a camera for Christmas, so I am sure that I will be taking a lot of pictures with it! We hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a great New Year!
