Miss Caitlyn

Caitlyn is 19 months old now and I have been meaning to take her 18 month old pictures but haven't gotten around to it. We were walking in the house after picking up Megan and Tyler from school today when she walked up to the dog planter and said "Hi Maddie."(she thinks that all dogs are called Maddie) and gave it a kiss. I couldn't resist running in the house and grabbing the camera. I will get more formal pictures later but for now this was fun. So this is our sweet Caitlyn with her crazy after nap hair playing with the "dog"...

It is extremely rare to catch Caitlyn looking at the camera and smiling, I should go buy a lottery ticket because I'm feeling lucky!

Caitlyn turns 1

Boy has this year flown by! I can't believe our little Caitlyn is 1! It took Graydon and I a long time to decide if we were going to have more kids and I am soooo glad we did! Miss Caitlyn is such a fun baby. Tyler and Megan adore her and she brings a smile to everyone's face. She got a lot of fun toys for her birthday and I am happy to say she loves them and can be engrossed for a long time while playing with them. Hallelujah! She is getting closer to walking and is always moving around (it is really hard to get a good picture of her, she is always moving!) and I can tell she wants to be with the big kids when they are outside playing. She will sit at the front window and yell at them and it sounds like she is trying to get their attention ;) We have been trying to teach her how to give "love". When we are holding her we say, "Can I have love?" and, if she feels like it, she will put her head on our chest so we can hug her. She is not a cuddly baby, if she cuddled with you she would miss things that were going on around her. :) Happy Birthday Miss Caitlyn, we love you!!!

She likes the dinosaur behind her and can play with that for quite awhile.

The Blur

I was trying to take pictures of Caitlyn the other day and I could not get her to sit still long enough to get her picture. I guess she is finally at that age where I am going to have to bring in reinforcements to entertain her while I take her picture. I thought these were cute anyway...

Caitlyn-7 Months

I was a little late getting Cailtyn's 6 mo. pictures taken so these are her 7 mo. pictures :) We love them. Now we have to figure out which ones to enlarge. We want a bathtub one for the bathroom and a regular one for the living room. Any opinions?

Going Going Gone...

All I have to say is what happened to my baby's hair?! All my kids lose some of their hair but Caitlyn is the first one who has lost it all. She is a little cue ball. I love it! We figured since she was losing so much of it that we had to deal with the awful cradle cap that she had so, after talking to a ton of people about what to do, we "basted" her head is olive oil and, after a lot of work, we got rid of it! With the cradle cap went the rest of her hair. Now she just has peach fuzz and I smile everytime I look at her.

Here are Caitlyn's 3 month pictures. We love them! It is amazing that they turned out so well because Caitlyn was not in a very good mood. But Gaby was really patient and I am sooo glad because we have a lot of cute pictures to choose from.
