Is it Easter Already?

We realized that we are having Stake Conference on Easter Sunday this year so I wanted the girls to wear there Easter dresses to church today. My friend Pat always gets each of the kids something when it is one of their birthdays so the girls got Easter dresses and Tyler got a new shirt. I was pretty excited about that because then I didn't have to worry about getting the girls dresses! I think they are so adorable. Trying to get Caitlyn to stand still is really hard. While I was trying to take pictures of the kids she stood behind the two older kids and turned her back to me. We thought that was pretty funny. I hope to get better pictures when I'm not so rushed but I thought these were pretty cute.

Easter

We had a great Easter. Not only did we have a fun easter egg hunt but we also got to watch General Conference. The perfect weekend! The kids let us sleep until 8:00 and then we had fun watching them find the easter eggs. We had a yummy breakfast and then watched conference. A few days before Easter I was talking to Graydon and saying that I was really tired and just didn't feel like making my traditional meal of ham and scallop potatoes and so he suggested that I do something simple. The kids wanted 8 layer salad, which is super easy to make, and I was happy to make it. It was so nice just doing our own thing. I hope everyone had a great Easter!

Our Christmas...

We had a great Christmas this year. We just stayed home and enjoyed our new little family. Caitlyn gave me a Christmas Eve miracle by sleeping for 9 1/2 hours! I have never had a baby sleep through the night at 2 months old(now I have to stop waking up and looking at the clock wondering when she is going to wake up, I'm crazy!). We enjoyed getting everyone all dressed up and going to church together. The music at church was great and it was the first time we had all been there since Caitlyn was born. I got a camera for Christmas, so I am sure that I will be taking a lot of pictures with it! We hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a great New Year!

Our first Christmas Party of the season.

We went to a great party that our friends Josh and Allyn invited us to. Santa showed up and he was great. He had a magic walking stick that he brought with him with all kinds of pictures on it. He showed the kids how Rudolph's nose glows with magic. He touched the kids noses and his finger lit up. He brought a present for each of the kids and they went ballistic. The kids made ornaments and we ate and had a good time. We had a great time. Thanks Josh and Allyn for inviting us.

Tyler asked for Legos(his new passion) and that is exactly what Santa brought him. He is magic.

Megan told Santa that she wanted a soft teddy bear and a duck with a string to pull it with. Santa brought Megan some pretty bracelets she had been eyeing at the store.

I love the holiday season!

I thought after looking at all of the great blogs out there that it was time that I started my own. I love to scrapbook and since I rarely get to do it I thought this would be a great way to share our memories and experiences with our family. I thought I would start by looking at Christmas' past. It is so amazing how much the kids change each year. I never get tired of looking at these pictures. Graydon and I absolutely love this time of year. Graydon likes it because it is cuddling weather and I like the spirit this time of year(and a little bit of the cuddling) :) We have been so blessed in our lives this last year and hope that we can show Heavenly Father how grateful we are by serving and sharing our gifts and talents with others.
